At Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley we strive to provide a positive place for children to learn and succeed. Our programs are geared to be fun, entertaining and most of all educational. These age appropriate programs are run throughout each afternoon.
Power Hour- This is our Homework time. We provide a learning environment for members to complete their Homework, ask staff for help and provide educational materials for those without homework. We also offer El Verano’s Accelerated Reading program. ASES Students have access to Accelerated Reading books in all levels and opportunities to take online quizzes.
Enrichment Hour: This is our core area programs and club activities which are educational and are always fun for members. We offer an array of Enrichment programs in one or more of the five core program areas: Character and Leadership Development, Education and Career Development, Health and Life Skills, The Arts, Sports, Fitness and Recreation. All our programs are run by Club professionals and meet the ASES program guidelines. Some enrichment programs are lead by contracted professionals and volunteers with specialized skills in their fielded.
